Quick note from benny: We’re keeping an eye on the situation as Fort Lauderdale recovers from Hurricane Irma. We’ll continue to communicate when we have information, and will be updating the post that I made on Monday about it. Now, I hand it over to Mary….

Hello, everyone! The cPanel University team is here to fill you in on what we’ve been so excited about for the past few months, as well as what you can expect from us moving into the future.  We will start by discussing one of our primary products (cPanel University) and a project we’ve been working on (the 2017 Version Certification exam).

University updates

As many of you know, cPanel University is the spot to learn about administering cPanel & WHM. The coursework focuses on four core areas: DNS, mail, databases (MySQL), and web (Apache, EasyApache, and PHP). We also have a handful of supplementary courses on topics like SSL and cPHulkd. cPanel University coursework is updated at least four times a year, roughly corresponding with new releases of cPanel & WHM. In fact, we’ll be doing the updates for version 66 right after the upcoming cPanel Conference 2017, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

cPanel Conference 2017

Speaking of the Conference, it will be loaded with great content and learning opportunities, as well as the option to take an exclusive 2017 Version Certification exam and earn a unique certificate of achievement. This certification is only available at the conference itself, although, after the conference, some of the questions will be added to the core certification exams. You can get a leg up on this exam by reviewing the Study Guide on cPanel University. No account is required to prepare, but keep in mind that you’ll need a cPanel University account when the time comes to take the exam. Not sure how that works? No worries. If you don’t have an account on the day of the exam, we’ll help you get signed up in-person.

Did you know that the cPanel University team also does a host of other things in addition to the online e-learning material and certification courses available through cPanel University? We help to train cPanel’s Technical Analysts who are hired to provide you with the world’s best support for your cPanel & WHM servers. We can also provide partners with customized training. Interested in learning more about this? We’d love to hear from you. Come chat with us at the conference, and we’ll fill you in.

More to come!

Ultimately, we are always committed to providing education for server admins and end-users alike, with opportunities to learn about cPanel & WHM server administration from the ground up. If you would like to consult with us on how your organization could benefit from our knowledge and experience in teaching technical or non-technical individuals how to use cPanel & WHM, please stop by our room and speak with us at the conference. We’d love to hear your ideas are and explore what we can do to help you achieve your company’s training goals.

We hope to see you at the conference and online!
